Rose Dreams

I was trying to learn to paint roses and had practiced and practiced.  In my last effort one day I realized that while the color of the rose was similar to this coral, I had used almost every color on my palette.  I went to be that night with that on my mind and had a dream about all the colors swirling around and a rose coming out of it all.  The next morning I went to my studio and out came this painting.

It is framed in a vintage wood frame that I also painted.  I thought the painting was unique enough it needed a unique frame as well.  The frame is relatively heavy so it will need a spot that is sturdy ad of some prominence.  It always seems to take over any wall it's placed on.

The painting itself is 20" x 16" and the frame adds an additional 3" all the way around.

The framed piece is $300 -
