Glad Garden

While we no longer live on our farm where we grew all sorts of fruits, veggies and flowers, my husband began planting flowers in our much smaller yard the day after we moved here in the middle of the pandemic of 2020.  A grandson helped him plant over 50 gladiolus bulbs and they were absolutely gorgeous this year.  I had so many to pick from and paint.  We are heading into the fall and I've still got blooms.

This particular piece is a framed 10" x 8" on a panel.   I love how the black background really makes the flowers pop.
