Sisters From A Different Mother

Sisters From A Different Mother was part of a series I did of daisies in blue jars.  This one was representative of the different types of flowers we grow and cut and brink into our home on a daily basis.  My husband and I both love fresh flowers in the house and there are always fresh flowers here, even in winter.  Jim can't seem to pass them up in the winter.  Having this painting is almost like having fresh flowers right here.

I love painting flowers and I absolutely love to paint blue glass jars.  I don't know what the attraction is, but I love painting them.  I have lots of glass items of other colors I could paint, but these are just my favs.

Sisters of a Different Mother is a standard 16" x 20" original on a stretched canvas and could be easily framed, but it is painted on all 4 sides so it doesn't have to be.  It is sold here unframed.  Shipping is free in the lower 48.

Thanks so much for being here today and looking at my art.  I have a newsletter you can sign up for on my homepage and that way you'll always know when I post new work to my website.  I hate spam so I promise to never sell your email address and I don't flood your inbox with emails you're not interested in.  You can cancel at any time.

Have a great day.

Sharon
