Print - Carrollton Back In The Day - Sm

This is a signed and numbered print of a painting I did that was enlarged to a huge size and is currently on a building on Court Street, Carrollton, KY.  I used several photographs to create the original painting for the Main Street program in Carrollton.  The photographs were from the 1920's through the 1940's.  The painting was commissioned by Kentucky Utilities and I used a photograph of their truck to put it in the painting.  I added the Hill's Dairy truck because Hill's Dairy was a local business in Carrollton and there are many people there today who are related to the original owners of the dairy.  All the signage is representative of the businesses at the time of the photographs.

The scene itself is along 5th Street in downtown Carrollton at a time when businesses were booming in small towns across America.  The courthouse is across the street.

Anyone from Carrollton, KY would appreciate this print as a gift for home or office.  It is printed on high quality paper with a white edge around it.  It will fit into a standard frame and could be matted.  The actual size of the painting on the paper is8" x 10"  The print comes with a foam core board for protection in a plastic sleeve.

Price is $20 and includes shipping anywhere in the lower 48.
